About Eleanor
Eleanor “Cori” Curry is an entrepreneur and attorney with a passion for entrepreneurship and community. As a graduate of the illustrious Florida A & M University five year MBA program she learned early the possibilities to take chances. As she returned home to Houston after graduation, she found a professional home within her family businesses. She learned the ups and downs of operating a small business first hand by managing the ophthalmology practice for Florence Wooten MD, PA. Within her family brokerage firm, Pathway Real Estate Advisors, her role as both commercial and residential real estate broker and as the marketing and education liaison impressed upon her the value of staying motivated and consistent in pursuit of her entrepreneurial dreams.
Over the course of her 14 year professional matriculation, she honed these skills through the challenges of attending law school at South Texas College of Law as a part time student. Upon graduation she proceeded to form The Curry Law Firm where she serviced clients focusing on small business formation and operation needs as well as real estate transactions. Additionally they offer affordable streamlined business formation guidance through the site Start Up in Texas.
Eleanor’s commitment to service in her community has included being President of the Young Leaders of the Intown Chamber of Commerce, a member of the Urban League, NBMBAA, Junior League, Houston Young Lawyers Association, and a board member of ICON Women’s Organization. Eleanor Curry resides in Third Ward, Houston, Texas where she also works to renovate and revitalize older properties in the area.
