Beth received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History, cum laude, from
Beth currently serves as a Board of Governor for the Illinois State Bar Association. She also is a Board of Director for the Illinois Bar Foundation, serving as Chairperson of the Grants Committee as well as their Fellows Program. Beth also is a Board of Director of the Heart of Illinois Regional Port District. She has served on the Illinois Comptroller's Merit Commission and Local Government Advisory Board, as well as the City of
Beth has also been an active member of the Peoria County Bar Association, serving as Board member and Chairperson of many committees. She is a Master member of the Abraham Lincoln Inn of the American Inns of Court. She has served on the Leadership Committee for the annual fundraising campaign for Prairie State Legal Services since 2000. Beth also volunteers as an advocate for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault for the Center for Prevention of Abuse for which she served as a Board of Director, including President of the Board during the agency's $4.2 million capital campaign.
Beth has received the Judi Lasco Outstanding Volunteer of the Year Award from the Center for Prevention of Abuse, the Charles C. Schink Good Government Award, as well as the 40 Leaders Under 40 Award.
Beth and her husband have two young boys.
