Besides his many credentials listed below, he was influenced early in life by the justice system, as his father, Harold Buckner, served Mercer County as Magistrate and Sheriff.
In 2005, Eric married his wife, Sonya Anderson Buckner, and they extended their family with the birth of a beautiful daughter in 2007. His family, faith, love of golf and WVU football keep him busy when outside the office. Eric is a member of Johnston Chapel Baptist Church and Greater Bluefield Chamber of Commerce.
Eric excels in representing the citizens of southern West Virginia and works tirelessly to help them receive the justice they deserve! Helping families obtain the compensation they desperately need during some of the most trying times in their life is the purpose in which he feels he was called to serve.
