About Eric
Eric M. McDaniel is an associate at The Lewis Law Firm. Eric earned his B.A. and M.A. from the University of Tulsa. He received his J.D. cum laude from the George Mason University School of Law, where he was president of the Federalist Society and an editor of the George Mason University Civil Rights Law Journal. During law school, he also co-founded the Journal of Law, Economics & Policy, one of the first student-run, peer-reviewed law reviews in the country, and he currently serves on its Alumni Editorial Board. He is a charter member of the Michael Oakeshott Association, a past member of the American Bar Association's Interstate Compact APA Project, and a member of the bars of the commonwealth of Virginia and the U.S. Court of Federal Claims.
Before deciding on law as career, he worked through college as a music teacher for various state and national award-winning marching percussion programs in the Northeastern Oklahoma area. His past legal experience includes a clerkship at the Office of Policy Planning of the Federal Trade Commission, and work for the George Mason Domestic Relations Legal Clinic helping unrepresented parties obtain divorces. Prior to joining The Lewis Law Firm, he clerked for Judge Victor J. Wolski of the United States Court of Federal Claims, a court known for its docket of complex, high stakes commercial litigation.
