Eric Nelson | Seattle Personal Injury Lawyer

Eric was born and raised in Seattle (Capitol Hill neighborhood) and attended O'Dea High School. After graduating from the University of Washington in 1988, Eric obtained his law degree, with honors (cum laude), from Pepperdine University Law School in 1992. He began his legal career in 1992 by forming the law firm of Nelson & Associates, P.S. with his father, Richard Nelson.

Although Eric practiced in a variety of legal fields early in his career, he quickly determined that his passion was representing those that have been injured and disadvantaged. As a result, he began focusing his law practice on personal injury. In 2006, Eric was named a "Rising Star Super Lawyer" by the Washington Law & Politics Magazine. Since that time, he has been named as a "SuperLawyer" by his peers and the Washington Law & Politics Magazine in 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013. Recently, he has been honored to be named to The National Trial Lawyers Top 100 Civil Plaintiff Lawyers from 2017-2019.

In 2015, Eric formed his current firm of Nelson Injury Law, PLLC, a Seattle-based personal injury law firm. Through Nelson Injury Law, PLLC, Eric continues to dedicate his practice to helping out people that have been injured by others' negligence and wrongdoing.

Eric is licensed to practice law in Washington State and the United States District Court, Western District of Washington.  He is a member of the Washington State Bar Association, King County Bar Association, Washington State Association for Justice (Eagle Member), and American Association for Justice. Eric has also been appointed on numerous occasions to act as an Arbitrator for the King County Superior Court.
