About Erin

Erin O’Riley already had built substantial family law experience before graduating from law school. While attending Willamette University College of Law, Erin worked as a court-certified law clerk in the Child Advocacy Section at the Oregon Department of Justice, where she represented the state of Oregon in foster-care proceedings. She appeared in various administrative and court proceedings in Marion, Polk, Benton, and Linn counties. She worked on child custody, divorce, and grandparents’ rights issues at the Willamette University Child and Family Advocacy Clinic in Salem, Oregon. She also has volunteered at the Victims Rights Law Center in Portland, Oregon, the Legal Aid Society of Oregon, and the Oregon Law Center.
Erin joined Gresham Family & Bankruptcy Law as a paralegal in November 2018 and, after being sworn in as a lawyer, became an associate attorney with the firm in May 2019. She chose a career in law because she enjoys helping people in crisis.

Erin’s down-to-earth background and approachable manner make her uniquely suited to work helping people from all walks of life through difficult times. She maintains a great sense of humor even in stressful situations. When Erin is not working to help Oregon families, you can find her at an early morning spin class or cooking homemade New Mexican cuisine.
