About Esther

Esther L. Klisura is an associate in the firm’s San Francisco office, where she focuses on antitrust, consumer, and business litigation.

Ms. Klisura has handled a variety of cases in state and federal courts from pre-litigation claims filing to appeal. She is also experienced in alternative dispute resolution, having participated in numerous arbitrations and mediations. In 2005, she and partner Bruce Simon represented defrauded investors in a binding NASD arbitration against one of the world’s largest investment banking and securities firm. Although she more frequently prosecutes class actions, Ms. Klisura has defended them as well. Her experience includes briefing class certification, structuring class settlements, and creating notice plans.

Ms. Klisura received her undergraduate degree from the University of Southern California and her law degree from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, where she was a recipient of the Blum Foundation and Percy C. Towne scholarships. During law school, she worked as an assistant to the Special Master appointed by the Honorable Thelton E. Henderson in a landmark civil rights class action and as a judicial extern to the Honorable Joseph C. Spero. She also worked as a certified law clerk in the White Collar Crimes Division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Nevada.

Ms. Klisura is admitted to practice law in all state and federal courts in California. She is a member of the State Bar of California’s Antitrust & Unfair Competition Section, the American Association for Justice, the Asian Law Caucus, the Association of Business Trial Lawyers, California Women Lawyers, and Consumer Attorneys of California. She also participates in the Northern District of California’s Pro Bono Project.
