Adams and Reese, LLP

I retained Adams and Reese to represent me in a case against a General Contractor who had filed a fraudulent lien on my home after failing to do a large portion of the work he was contracted to do. I retained them based on a referral from a friend so unfortunately, I ignored the poor Google reviews. In our initial call, my attorney even told me he was “excited to go against this guy”. Long story short, I paid a lot of money for them to play secretary and pass emails along. The experience was extremely negative and I ended up paying more in total than if I would have just paid the contractor to begin with. Heed the Google reviews and buyer beware if you retain this firm!

Zero accountability. Zero responsibilty. Zero results. When I needed my lawyer, Brian Oblow, he was good at drafting documents. But when it came to doing actual law practice and recovery of a simple deposit, he couldn't pull it off. Then he was offended when I called he and his firm out for charging $400 an hour with ZERO results. As a result, they dropped me as a client after 10 years. Since joining their new firm these people are more interested in billable hours than getting results for their clients. Lack luster attitude and effort.

Do not use this firm!!!!! I was recommend to use Trent Cotney after my prior lawyer became ill. He passed the majority of the file to Virgil Tray Batcher and the firm excessively billed me to the tune of $56,000 in 8 months. As far as I know, there were no depositions or trials or major hearings in that time. $56,000 for what?! Tray then billed me approx 20 hours to re-do all of the claims by my prior lawyer and then never even filed the new claims in the case. I brought in another attorney to review their billing and their immediate response was to withdraw, in which they did even though I contested it. Then, on top of that, they tried to bill me for the time they incurred to withdraw! This firm is awful and didn’t care about me. I would not expect them to care about you either.

It took some time but they got me what I deserved. They where very thorough and made the hole thing so much easier.
