I worked with Ed Alkalay because of 5 stars on Google, but... - Up-front consultation fee of $240 before even speaking to me! - Nickeled and dimed me for every and any form of correspondence, even if he did absolutely nothing. - Lazy. Almost completely unresponsive, botched my hearing. - Paid him to review some documents and he told me they were good and they weren't filled out correctly TWICE. - Isn't very good with Tenant/Landlord law, other lawyer found several better ways to make my case. - After charging me a significant amount of money for almost nothing, decided he had a "scheduling conflict" and didn't want to represent me. - Got another lawyer, they actually represented me and they charged me less than HALF of what he charged.
