First of all I wish it was possible to give this company a zero * I wasted my 5 years and almost 4 months in this company I wish I would have worked somewhere else. Fake management . Worse H.R ,we were working from home and I wasn't able to remote in up to three days all the management didn't respond to my phone calls/voice mails then on the 4th day I went to the office and hand over my resignation letter to the guard and found out that they want all the employees to come to the site but they are soo busy that they can't answer everyone's phone call. It is really the cheapest company I have worked for and I knew it's coming cause all the good managers resigned and they promoted the team lead to be the supervisor. They have fired people and fight with the state not to give them the unemployment. They have forced the employees to train ( side by side ) new employees for free, manager's stating it's a part of your contract. I am asking the Alorica ( Owner/H.R or whomever it is) not to write that nonsense in respond to my review. I do not recommend this company to anyone. Thank you!
Word for them through training, during this time our system was down every single day. They had no backup plan so all we did is sit and learn nothing. Then after they said go to the floor and lean how to make calls. I felt very ill equipped to do this so I decided to leave for a company that is better organized and pays better. On the subject of pay, for the information you need to know and the practices you have to do, and sitting in an ice cold building for 8+ hours you aren’t making much money. Instead of working here I would find a place that’s better organized and doesn’t waste your time
I started working at Alorica just less than 2 months ago. So far, I have witnessed a major breakdown in intra-company communication. There is a massive disconnect between management and entry-level hourly employees. My experience to date has been demoralizing. I am hoping it will improve, but I won’t hold my breath. Unfortunately, it’s the job I have and I need a job. So here I am. The only redeeming aspect of the job thus far is that I can work from home. Will try to update later if/when things improve.
Highly suggest looking anywhere else for employment before going here. The building is in North Omaha and is horribly run down, mice, cockroaches, etc. My car got broken into but there's no cameras in the parking lot. Poor management, mainly because the management and team leads are in their 20s and have no real experience in leadership. (I'm also in my 20s so it's not like I have something against people my age, but most of us lack good leadship skills.) Pay is 12 an hour. They claim you will get a monthly bonus but will come up with every excuse not to give you one. If you are desperate for a job and can't get hired anywhere else this place might be for you. They will hire anyone. But keep in mind almost any retail or fast food will pay you more.
I was bullied as a professional recruiter and after reporting it to corporate, the 3 people retaliated against me, which they were supposedly not allowed to do so, and by telling lies to get me fired. Management will not listen to you and they do not appreciate hard work.
