Unless you have money to throw away, DO NOT hire Amanda as your attorney. The case was settled through mediation, never even went to court. For the little bit Amanda did and the little time spent on this particular case, $5,000 didn’t suffice, according to her (she actually wants more money from us). This is the third time we feel we’ve been mislead by Amanda. Seek your legal matters elsewhere - there are a lot of selfless attorneys in Yuma who will help you without draining your bank account. FYI... Janet Metcalf was kind enough to refund half my money when a similar incident occurred between my ex-husband and me, and she actually put a lot of time and work into our case. I hired Amanda for an ongoing custody case and she has been amazing. She is really passionate and actually cares about her clients. She knows how important this is to me and she has really gone above and beyond. She has worked nights and weekends on my case. I am so happy that Amanda took over my case.

In my professional opinion, the individual who wrote that Amanda offered to do work for free must be mistaken as no lawyer volunteers to work for free unless its a pro bono case. It would not be pro bono unless there would be extenuating circumstances that could not be discussed. Thus, the rest of what this person wrote, in other words, her other comments, must be invalid also. I have found Amanda highly professional, brilliant, and a humanitarian, as she truly cares about her clients.

FAMILY LAW: Hands down best attorney in Yuma. I contacted a few law firms and I felt they just went in for the kill, asked about payment and money up front. First impression with Amanda and her staff was how they greeted me and made me feel like a very important client and took consideration for any conditions I had at the time.
