Attorney Ellis and his staff helped me during a very tough time. Attorney Ellis is knowledgeable, efficient and a great communicator! He walked me through the entire process and answers any and all of my questions patiently. It is hard to find good, hard working people in this world, so it's refreshing I was lucky to find them and appreciate everything they did for me and my family. I could tell they worked tirelessly on my case and refused to give up when I myself was on the breaking point from multiple rejections. I represented myself at my disability hearing. That was a mistake. The judge denied me and so did the Appeals Court. I consulted multiple lawyers who rejected my case.nnI since moved from Boston to Worcester. The word on the street is to see Ellis and Associates when it comes to Social Security claims. I met Nick Ellis who I discovered to be one of the few attorneys in Central Mass who would appeal my case to Federal Court. At the same time, he advised me to file a new application while the Federal Court case was pending.nnMy new application was approved at the initial stage and recently the Federal Judge send my prior claim back to the SS judge to review my earlier claim to determine whether I will receive four more years of retroactive benefits. This was my second attempt at obtaining Social Security Disability. I hired this law firm on a recommendation from a trusted friend. I am so happy I did as I received Disability at the first step, just four months after applying. I did not need to go in front of the administrative judge again, like the first time. Terrible service. There's no update, no follow up calls. My husband had to get all the paperwork from his own doctors office because they never got anything on their own. When we dropped of any documentations they often lose them or misplaced them. When they lose paper work they expect the customer to search again looking for it; without caring in the distress the person might already be. nnVery irresponsible and disrespectful. The owner has no sense of professionalism. And when asked to speak to him, he's too busy.
