did well on my case, 5 stars for that but when making my payment so they could start my case.. the lady who toke the payment over the phone, Litzy I believe it was, ended up giving me the amount I was suppose to pay but the amount did not appear in my bank account (so that i could return it) because she forgot it toke 5-7 business day for it to appear. I sent various proof that i hadn’t received such money that day and she insisted I had. Litzy demanded me to pay money I never received while I was financially unstable causing unnecessary emotional distress. I only had the amount of money I was suppose to pay for which was then my ‘money I didn’t want to give back’ after more than 30 minutes of back and fourth.. she finally realized her mistake. Being that the money takes 5-7 business days to completely transfer into an account. She didn’t bother to apologize, just told me to call back when money was received. When i received the money, I made sure to call back and return it AND had to triple check with her that she was taking my payment this time, instead of giving me money again. I understand things happen but I sent various proof I never received such money, she insisted she was right and demanded money I had not received. Playing with money like that is bad.. very unpleasant experience in that sense. only time i ever spoke to them over the phone.. rest of communication was over email.
We are first-time land buyers and will never recommend anyone use this office. Instead of trying to help us understand the process, Mary treated us as an irritation for our lack of knowledge. We were then told that it would be months before she could even look at it because of how busy they were and she only works three days a week. Suddenly, two months passed with not a single email correspondence, quote, client contract, not even a courtesy phone call. “We ran a title search you now owe us $150.” I called, like any sane person would when receiving a bill for something you did not know about from any of the forms of communication listed above. I was told, “That’s how things are done in Siler City.” She said that after accusing my wife of being a liar, claiming that she had been in contact with my wife. We have the emails and phone call history, or lack thereof, to prove that she didn't try reaching out until 2 months later with the bill. In fact, she never responded to the emails and the initial phone calls were never returned. We had to call multiple times to even get in contact with someone at that office.
Sara Fathi-Nejad is the BEST attorney I’ve had the pleasure of dealing with. She stuck by me and helped through the whole entire long stressful process. I was terminated during Hurricane Florence. Gotten denied unemployment at this unfortunate timing. Had our appeal. She “killed it” in the hearing. ABSOLUTE BEST! I didn’t receive benefits for weeks. After so many pointless unsolved calls to unemployment office. Sara insisted on a conference call. The first call we made together, instead of me alone got us somewhere. She was so good she demanded the money we won and hadn’t received for several weeks. The issue was handled within a matter of hours and I received back pay the very next day, less than 24 hours after the conference call. Again, THANKS SO MUCH SARA! -Amber B
