Reviews

Though this attorney is not representing me, on the contrary, I would highly recommend this practice to anybody that needs legal help. I can't use them because my former wife found them first. They are efficient and professional.
Great people. Will do business with them again!
Bankston Law Firm represented my ex-wife in divorce proceedings - her 4th and 5th attorneys. Attorney Casey is a wonderful problem solver and negotiator. As another review stated, Attorney Leslie is unnecessarily abrasive and her memory of judge's orders were clouded at times that would conveniently benefit her client but possessed profound recall otherwise. I finally had to have the sheriff's office remove my ex from the marital home because of Leslie's conveniently faulty memory. Leslie was responsible for multiple miscommunications and disruptions that created further conflicts that had no benefit for anyone involved. During negotiations when I represented myself, Casey and I were near settlement, but Leslie became involved demanding further compensation not supported by the numbers calculated by an accountant. In the end, my ex-wife received slightly less than what Casey and I had negotiated prior to Leslie getting involved. In short, my ex spent approximately $35,000 to go to trial to be awarded what had already been calculated by the accountant. Our joint divorce costs were nearly $90,000 at the end. Do yourself a favor and find an attorney who helps solve problems rather than becoming part of one. Response to Ms. Leslie's reply: Ms. Leslie's reply is exactly the point I was providing about her poor judgement in my review. Parties represented by an attorney prohibits opposing counsel from directly communicating with the other attorney's client. It's a bar violation for which the Louisiana bar could extend disciplinary action to her licensure. My review was not in protest of the final outcome as the judge was fair in the ruling. My point is clearly that Leslie's poor discretion resulted in disservice to her client. The $35,000 that I specified above in loss to her client included the opportunity costs that my ex lost between settlement offers and the judge's final ruling.
Leslie is a awesome lady!
The Bankston Law Firm cares. Ms. Bankston and her staff was extremely professional and caring during a most difficult time. Highly recommended.
