I reached out to Barbara regarding a garnishment situation that I found myself in a couple of months back. I found myself extremely taken back by the situation and overwhelmed with stress. Was referred to her by Hyatt/MetLife through my employer. I should have checked her reviews ahead of time. She started working on some estate planning documents, but in our first and only phone interaction she was extremely rude and condescending. When I die, I don’t want my loved ones dealing with her.

We too utilized Hyatt legal plan guiding us to her. It was exceptionally awful to work with her. It wasn't just for being so dreadfully unorganized and being charged repeatedly for the same information being requested that was acknowledged to be within her own office but the refusal to utilize technology to help in making things easier to access whenever she'd want any documents (through secured channels) instead of re-requesting them repeatedly through unsecured channels. Instead printed versions or unsecured e-mail chains amongst her staff were the only options afforded. Hands down the worst attorney I've ever had the distaste of attempting to work with for a custody case. Other attorneys did and continue to literally laugh when I said who our previous representation was then wince and ask how bad was it this time. Save your time, funds, and energy to find someone who can do what you could monetarily pay handsomely for but at least it could be done right vs having to go to counselors for the damage done by her lack of action while finding better representation. We paid handsomely to learn a VERY hard lesson for our son who has to live with her and by proxy our dreadful mistakes for not switching our representation sooner with all the red flags.

They were extremely thorough, timely, and professional at all times. They made the process very easy.
