Straight forward an to the point. Crime was caught on camera. Argued with DA about why crime had to be committed 2 of 3 charges dropped. 1 being a felony. Walked away with M1 no probation fines an cost only

I paid 1400 for services I would call lackluster at best - I received my traffic stop In july but mr.Bates was unable or unwilling to retrieve body cam evidence for my viewing before accepting a plea deal on December . Which makes me believe he never viewed the body cam footage and would of been unable to make a case for me had I chosen to go forward tht day with the motion to suppress . When formally facing criminal charges, defendants are entitled to certain information and evidence regarding the allegations against them

Charlie has went above and beyond helping my brother. I would hire him again.

Gets the job done but does not explain things clearly nor does he tell you pricing clearly so make sure you read everything before you sign it he told both me and my parents for pretrial it would be 700 and if it went to trial it would be 1400. So my parents loaned me 700 and we closed it without a trial..now I get a bill saying I owe 700 more....so ya read everything. Then I find out one of the charges he didn't even finish and im being indicted on separately ....which he knew about and I guess informed his staff to warn me but they didn't. So big surprise to be handed papers by a sheriff deputy after just getting off work I think in my future I shall use Clayton crates at least he is very upfront with cost... 1500 down and he'll tell you what your cost will be between such as my case he told me it would be between 5-10k total..

He has been a total professional with my case. Explaining everything in such great and understanding detail. Glad he is representing me and a huge shout out to this hard man and his secretary. Sometimes we don’t understand things and we expect things to go the ways we had things planned in our mind. Rather we are guilty or innocent we should be asking ourselves why and stop denying the fact that we know everything cause we don’t. How many of us know our rights?I’m talking everything. That’s why I hired Charlie Bates. I knew he would fight hard for each and every one of us. I don’t even want to know how many cases he deals with a year. Let alone in a lifetime. Let’s give this man some credit. He has fought hard for me and I’m sure for others. Accept our outcome like I have and become a better person from it. Learn from our mistakes rather we tell ourselves we are innocent or not we are brought to a place for a reason? Understand and always tell the truth because it can get you to places you couldn’t even imagine.
