Bjurling Law, PLLC

First time in Vermont, we went to the open house of Vermont Law School and came back loving the university and all the people involved in welcoming us. The university is nothing fancy. I wish they had a place to offer stay for the first year students to help them explore for better options and the transition could be happier and more comfortable.
Before choosing to attend Vermont Law, (I looked at and was accepted to 7 other schools). I picked Vermont Law for a number of reasons. First, because of it's standing in the law community, it's history, and it's mission. Secondly, I was looking for a school that I knew would see me as an individual person and help me to make the most of my legal education. This has been a resounding theme from the beginning. Starting from when I dropped into town last minute on a holiday weekend and an admissions rep took the time to give me a tour and answer my questions. The thing that stuck out to me was the approachability of the staff and administration, and the mutual respect I saw between them. Once I decided to come here, when I have had any issues or questions, the administration, staff, academic success staff, professors and even students have been outstanding in their desire to help. Third, before I came here, I created a spreadsheet of the schools I felt would give me the best return on investment – that is the best education all things considered. Bottom line - students will get out of their law school experience what they put into it. But, having a school like VLS that is committed to helping you during and after your education will ensure that if you want to go far, you can.
What a beautiful atmosphere. The people are so friendly and helpful. I'm coming from NJ so it's an adjustment
