FIGHT THEM BECAUSE THEY ARE PREDATORY UNPROFESSIONAL AND NON-COMPLIANT WITH BASIC LAWS UNDER THE FDCPA. Wish I could give negative 10000 stars because they are the worst company/employees/people I have ever had the displeasure of speaking to. Also, they are probably doing what they did to me to elderly and those who don’t know how to or have the means to fight them. They mailed a summons to me for a Mariner finance account. They sent the first letter stating I had 30 days to respond if I disputed the debt. I sent a debt validation letter the following week so well within the allotted 30 days. According to the summons they had already started the legal proceedings before I ever received the first letter. No phone calls or emails except one back from a litigation specialist confirming they received my debt validation letter. They are in violation of one of the most basic and fundamental requirements under the FDCPA, to validate and verify the debt. Instead they want to file multiple lawsuits a day while being noncompliant to the FDCPA. They are terrible to talk to on the phone like the rudest people I’ve ever talked to and I work for an attorneys office and handle all kinds of people. I am hoping they will get what’s coming to them when they get hit with a lawsuit because I saved everything. I recorded phone calls, have delivery confirmation on the debt validation letter being received weeks before the 30 day mark, emails where I also forwarded my letter and proof account was paid in full, and the rude email I received back from the litigation specialist. She had the time to send me a rude email back but not have the decency to answer the phone or email me back and say it didn’t matter that they had received it because legal action was taken before I even received the letter saying the debt was owed which is a violation of Section 1692g in Title 15 of the U.S. Code of Fair Debt Collection Practices Act that states a consumer has the right to have the debt collector validate a debt for accuracy. Collection efforts must cease while it's being investigated. I guess they make their money on people being uninformed of the laws which is highly illegal. Always request a debt validation letter from this company because they are going to file suit regardless. I hope they get closed and banned from pursuing debt after this. It’s so predatory, deceptive, and illegal to do this to people.

Absolutely check to make sure they aren’t illegally pursuing any debt within your 30 days you have to validate a debt. They will send the initial letter stating you owe money and immediately start the lawsuit process on Day 1 which is a violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. You as a consumer have the right to have any and all debt collectors validate a debt for accuracy. Collection efforts must cease while it's being investigated. They do not abide by this law and will eventually be shut down by the CFPB because what they are doing is illegal.

I owed a company who i was making payments towards. This company reached out, and I made a payment plan with them. After maybe the 5th payment, they stopped taking the money out of my account, and said that my bank stopped them. I reached out to my bank, who informed me that, that was a lie. Now, all of a sudden i can’t get in contact with them.

Horrible business practices. Make an offer to pay off a debt, they said wait for a response... their response? Sending me a garnishment notice. Absolutely terrible and the company they represent, Mr. Quik, is no better. Horrible businesses with shady practices. STAY AWAY FROM BOTH!!! They have literally 0 communication, 0 respect, and 0 calculation. Horrible Company

Debt not in my name. Won't provide proof of original contract with my signature on it when I have asked. Rude very cocky when answering questions. Hung up on me when asking for proof. Emailed copy of court document not the contract from original debt.
