The VHG did everything that they advertised and more. Ms. Deanna Cintron was most responsive in a timely fashion and loads of respect for the client. Attorney Catherine Cornell was most effective in her research and advice. In fact, I would emphasize the importance of responding with immediacy to her requests for documented evidence that will assist her in her final report to the VA. The Veterans Help Group was a God send! From the moment I reached out to them, I knew my VA disability claim was in the right hands. Ms. Katherine Parra my VA case manager was very transparent throughout the claims process as well as my VA advocate Mr. David Lehmann. Within 6 months I was able to get to 100% disability status, as well as a substantial retro active back pay dating back nearly 3 years. This was a feat I had been trying desperately to achieve on my own, filing claims through VA.gov off and on for almost 10 years with little to no luck. Having knowledge of the terminology and documentation necessary to achieve 100% service connected disability status is KEY to a favorable outcome, and that requires a skilled advocate in the field who knows exactly what to provide to the VA raters. Mr. David Lehmann was EXACTLY that! I can’t thank the VA Help Group enough for all they have done. This decision was life changing to say the least. This whole journey started almost 15 years ago, that’s when the VA decided they were going to take away my 100% rating. I knew from talking with my other buddies that I was going to need representation, and I agreed. You cannot take on a billion dollar corporation by yourself. Plus, many Vets don’t realize that the VA will deny you, or reduce you, because they know that you won’t pursue it. Anyways, I chose this Law Firm Veterans Help Group.
