I came in to see Shelly Martinz at 8 am and she refused to give me medication for my sore throat I explained that I been having these symptoms for a while she said I’m not giving u what u want but medication over the counter I explained I can’t afford medication over the counter and she still refused to help me out she never checked my throat and once I said I had a sore throat she treated me like she no longer cared about what I was going through I ended up going to the urgent care next and they prescribe the medication to help me get better with no problem and without their personal feelings in the way! My apt was at 8:20 am and I got up to get help and Shelly Martinez refused to provide service!!! On March of 2023 please do your best to get her out the office that’s crazy !!
I went here for the flu. DeJoseph sent me home with zero medicine. It's been almost 2 weeks and I'm still sick. My wife went to Martinez for a follow up appointment after being in the hospital for the flu. Martinez didn't bother looking at chart and spent the entire appointment talking about everything other than what the appointment was for. She didn't even listen to her lungs. Martinez kept talking to her about broncitis, which my wife doesn't even have. Do not go here!!!
My friend who doesn't speak any english has been getting treatment here and I was there for her to translate however, the doctor Maria Dejoseph, were being rude towards us. These doctors were acting like they did not want to be there. She made my friend feel as if she was over exaggerating and that she was lying about how she physically felt. My friend feels as if she can no longer reach out for help and or treatment because of the way she is being treated by these doctors even though she's extremely sick. I have also been treated at this hospital and this is not the first time we've been treated this way. It feels as if they just want their check and dont truly care for the patients. The person that we saw was named Maria Dejoseph
I went here last week due to being sick and it going into my chest. Martinez came in and before even closing the door or asking my symptoms tells me it’s viral and there is nothing to give me. She also saw that I was pregnant and told me some medicine that “should be safe”. Aside from listening to my lungs she didn’t check my ears nose or throat let alone even ask me the symptoms I was having. I understand viruses and that meds can’t always be given, im just not sure how that determination was made without checking me or even really speaking to me about what was going on. I spoke with the clinical coordinator that day to state my experience. I was told a review of my chart would be gone over with other doctors and they would call me back. I was also told the office manager would follow up. Neither of those things happened. I found a new family doctor outside the network and am way happier. Don’t go here unless you want to be blown off.
I have gone to both Dr. Shablin and Dr. DeJoseph and I have been very impressed with both. Not only were they very friendly and professional, but they were very thorough as well. They knew my health history inside and out. The office has also done a great job with COVID precautions and the staff has always been very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this office.
