Bridgetown Mediation

It feels a little funny submitting a review for a divorce mediator because I don't have another experience to compare ours with. The process of meditation involves navigating a timeline that is specific to our experience, and all the emotion and details related to our situation. I'm giving Randy and Genesis Mediation 5 stars because he was patient with our process and affirmed some concerns I had through our mediation, and he had to assess us and our personalities through the various appointments we had and the headspace we were in on those days. Going through mediation required us to be aware of possibilities and own our situation. We have a couple of important timeline conditions related to selling or refinancing our house in 2025 that need to happen, where if they don't, my review will change. Advice I would give people going through mediation is that people should come into mediation with the mindset that these items are your life, both the past and future, and you should own all aspects associated with future possibilities and sunken costs that should mostly be left behind you. Randy was helpful, he said the right things at the right times, and he has a personality that functions as a good moderator if feelings go a little off the rails. Thanks for listening Randy, and Genesis Mediation, for providing a safe place for us to talk and what feels like a good environment for working out important elements of our eventual and long-desired divorce.

I have been blessed to have received sound counsel and encouragement from multiple personnel at Genesis. They not only cared about my well-being, but also took time to convey equal care, consideration as well as availability for my former spouse. It takes two willing people to go this route but I have never heard one bad thing from anyone who chose to go this route. Randy is great to work with! We had to reschedule our mediation appointment for our pending divorce a few times and he always accommodated to the change. He was also willing to drive to a different city to meet us as a way to be more accommodating as well. He asked questions to make sure he understood our needs and did not waste our time. I would definitely use Genesis Mediation again if needed!

Very responsive. Our amicable divorce was done over one hour and fifteen minute zoom call. Kathy is very fair and helpful. Once the papers were drawn up they were sent to the judge and signed in a week and a half. Easy process that I can rest assured was done how we wanted. I can’t recommend Kathy enough. Recommended by a friend, Genesis Mediation did not disappoint by handling a very sensitive and unique divorce settlement. Staff were timely in follow through needs and appointments, understanding and compassionate during mediation and flexible when time bumps in the road occurred. Some meetings were in person but in times of necessity, use of Zoom was helpful given the hectic schedule I lead. I feel very satisfied with the outcome of such a difficult situation, and I attribute the work and support from Genesis Mediation as a key factor. I do believe mediation is the best method and I highly recommend Genesis Mediation to be at the top of the list for service providers.
