Definitely not the attorney to handle Wills & Estates!! Plus his retainer was ridiculously high! Then after the said consultation I call back and his receptionist said oh he won't be taking your case it's a conflict of interest click.... Actually glad I dodged that bullet.....

Flake firm is Very unprofessional and untrustworthy they are clueless too your case and none responsive after they receive your money I received a ticket back in February 2021 Anson county. I live in Charlotte since I hired these guys I have lost my license and looking for new attorney Please Take your money elsewhere!!!

Very hard to get in touch with. Ive called multiple times through the year and every time i get his receptionist who always says "he will be back in office on __ day, he will return your call then. No email. No website. No phone calls.

Retained lawyer Michael J Flake as representation in my father's estate case in November 2016. Did not receive any communication from him or his paralegal after leaving several messages with his office. His lack of communication cost me my co-administrator position in a hearing at Anson County courthouse. According to opposing counsel in said hearing Mr. Flake and opposing counsel were well acquainted. Mr Flake never touched my case at all nor communicated with opposing counsel leading to a severe delay on settling the estate which opposing counsel used against me to have me removed. Do NOT use this lawyer for your estate case if you actually expect representation!
