I have never met a lawyer with less expertise, professionalism, or ethics than my experience with this firm. From what I can tell they represent their own interests, and not those of their clients. They are money-grubbing scam artist - avoid at all costs!
absolutely ridiculously conflicting out with my HOA being represented by them as well as the property management group being represented by him? It doesn’t make any sense to anybody else as a conflict of interest. This man actually doesn’t like anybody that challenges him therefore he will go after you. It’s not a decent place.
I called to discuss an issue I am having with my HOA and the woman I spoke with was absolutely infuriating. She was so rude and spoke to me like I'm an idiot. I don't even care about making the payment, I'm more pissed about having to give this law firm money! Please, if you're an HOA go with a reputable law firm.
This place is a money siphoning scam for HOAs. They took our HOA’s money for years, then when we really needed them, they ignored us. They would not return phone calls or emails. During litigation another attorney stated this is a well known practice for Mr. Washington.
Several of the Associations we manage at Blackwood Management utilize this firm to manage their collections process and in the 7 years I've worked with them we've always gotten quick responses and sound legal counsel. I've attended educational seminars they've provided and appreciate being given current legislature changes to keep our managers in the know. This firm has assisted us in reducing outstanding delinquencies for many associations.
