I’m new to the area and was in need of a corrective color and cut. A friend of mine referred me to, Stephen. I called the salon and he had me come in for a consultation. I was very impressed with his expertise, as well as, his ability to convey to me what the process would involve. I also found his humor to be, quite charming. I just adore my new color and cut and have booked an appointment for my next visit. I’ve purchased a few of the CS products from their lovely display, as shown in photo and will update my review, asap. Thanks Stephen!

Worst hair experience i’ve ever had, made the appointment for online to get a one color no trim and no blow dry. I then got up charged to $280 when about to walk out with WET hair. My hair is not at all what i wanted either, she made it half red toned. ( My shirt was also dripping wet since she sprayed my whole back when washing the dye out and yet didn’t get all the dye out.) Had to wash my hair again on my own to make it stop dripping the hair dye.

I have been there once before a few months ago and got a great hair cut. Decided to go back on 11/16, the only had a gentleman available that had just started 2 weeks prior, I had no choice and really hoped he knew how to work with long hair. I asked him to do my hair in layers because it was to long and heavy and cut at least one each. Through the cutting process I knew it was going to be a disaster, he partially wet my hair and I have tones of hair, so it was not wet enough kept cutting, never shaped my hair into layers, he finished and I went home. I dried my hair and to find out how uneven my hair was in the back the left was longer than the right. Call the salon and they booked me for 11/17, went back showed the same guy and mentioned that it was because the hair was not wet enough, he shampooed my hair proceed to fix the problem and kept cutting and cutting and still my hair didn’t look right. I had so much anxiety because I knew that what I was expecting of a hair cut was mot going to happen. There was an older gentleman there don’t know if it’s the owner he approached the hairdresser and offer to help. “Let me help”, he trimmed a little more and said the rest was ok on the back of my hair. I this point I just wanted to get out of there. I guess they lost a client because I would never go back.

I’m always very skeptical of getting my hair cut because stylists often have difficulty working with my curl pattern because I’m of mixed race. Steve cut my hair so efficiently and so well that my boyfriend looked at it and said it’s the best haircut I’ve had since he’s known me! I’m very grateful for Steve for giving me a place to get my hair cut without having to worry if I’ll be getting a good cut! We will certainly be back!

Chris and Steve are both masters at hair styling and give excellent cuts. Chris has been coloring my hair too for many years now and I am never disappointed. I’ve received many compliments on his work. I really like their new salon on S. Dixie in WPB. It doesn’t feel like a big hair styling factory like large salons —- it has much more of an intimate and private feel. Very relaxing.
