TWO YEARS AND NO DEED! Closing was fine in March of 2015. The major issue is they never got my deed to Douglas County to record. I was refused homestead exemption as they had no records of me owning my home. After calling over and over and speaking to Barry Almand mutiple times he finally stopped responding to me. I then began speaking to his partner Holly Cohen McMurray and she actually did file the affidavits, again I've had to call and call, that needed to be filed (my original deed is lost) with Douglas County. She was then to email me a copy and mail the originals after Douglas County sent them back to her office. I spoke to her in November, here we are in January 2017 (almost two years since closing) and I have finally called Douglas County Tax Clerks who advised me they recorded the affidavits and sent back to Almand & Cohen on 11/18/2016. I have yet to recieve an email or the ORGINALS TWO YEARS LATER! Called about a week or so ago and left a message for Holly, no response. I do NOT recommend this company, and they close lots and lots of homes in Paulding and Douglas areas.

They are the worst!!!!! Constantly something wrong or messed up on their part and did nothing to make it right
