I have loved working with Gabi Jones at CoilLaw! She’s intelligent, dedicated, and an excellent communicator. Through my whole case she’s been very open about what’s realistic and has helped keep my expectations in order. She does not give up, gets creative with her approach, and isn’t afraid to consult with other attorneys in the office if a situation gets complicated to make sure she’s providing the best advise. She has not disappointed and I would highly recommend her and her team. The office staff is also very easy to work and everyone communicates really well. For the last year, Coil Law has worked on my divorce, protective order, and relocation cases. I’ve worked primarily with Sterling Swank and more recently with T.R. Morgan. This past year has been incredibly tumultuous and difficult. Sterling made sure my voice was heard in all court filings. I’ve lost count of the killer documents he’s written for me to represent me in court. He’s empathetic, hilarious, and a good listening ear (I feel like I owe him counseling fees too). T.R. helped at mediation and my protective order hearings. As a former commissioner, he has great insight to the workings of the court. Jill Coil argued for me during my Protective Order hearings and my relocation hearing. She’s a spitfire and will stand up for you in court. The paralegal, Erin, is also incredible. She’s highly responsive and works tirelessly with the court to push for better/more immediate court dates. Sherri and Sarah are also incredible. They send me weekly itemized billing statements and are great about getting me scheduled for phone calls for last minute questions or pressing issues. They’re a great team who worked nights and weekends to get my incredibly difficult relocation case approved. Because of Sterling (he gets most of the credit), T.R., and Jill, I can now move forward in life and thrive post-divorce. They made the impossible, possible. I’ve worked with Coil Law a few times for a few different reasons and have had great experiences! Most recently I’ve had the opportunity to work with Kelly Baldwin on an issue regarding my ex-husband, trying to increase child support amount. He repeatedly wouldn’t communicate, or show up, or provide his income… So frustrating. But Kelly was so professionally and calm and was able to hold him accountable and able to move forward anyway! Child support was increased to a fair amount and my children are taken care of thanks to her dedication. So grateful!
