Ne. Blake Thomas helped with Chime , but at what expense? They settled for $3,950.00... I had to pay $2,634.65 in contingency fees and other expenses to the attorney. I never received the check, so I asked to have it reissued. I was then charged $250 more just to have the check reissued 5 months later since I never received the first one. Out of $3,950.00, I was left with only $1,066.00 that I guess I'll receive one day in the mail. The new tenant sent back all of the mail she received for me, but the post office never forwarded it to my new address due to backup and a mix-up. It was sent back to the sender. I guess I'm the only one who lost in all of this. At least I was left with the $1,066.00 that I'm hoping to receive soon in the mail.... Out of $3,950.00 I was left with $1,066.00 after all of the fees the attorney charged me after helping get some of my money back from Chime. I feel ripped off all over again. I thought they charge 33% up to 40% for contingency fees and expenses. How does that equal up to $2,917.00 and I'm only left with $1,066.00? That's not right or fair. What was the point in getting my money back from Chime if the money was going to still go to someone else other than me.

This man charged $250 to send a check out, which had to be sent out again because it wasn’t received the first time. I was charged $250 TWICE and was only left with less than $2000 of my payment

December 2nd I was desperately seeking any kind of legal help because finding any is next to impossible unless you pay an incredible fee. But I found this place and decided I would see if they could help. I typed out what was happening and let them know that on the 19th I had to show up and that between the date I started fighting back against this company and the 2nd of December 22, I was getting so confused because I was getting emails with legal jargon sent to me every other day and had no idea what it ment or what I was supposed to do. So I thought I'd try my luck here...well, im glad I didn't hold my breath. Got a "Non-engagement letter" from them this morning. Almost THREE weeks after I told them I needed to present my case. I'm over it. I'm over attorneys always looking to fatten their freaking wallets rather than having any compassion at all for the non-loaded community. Sorry I don't make six figures and because of childhood trauma and being undiagnosed until I was 33 my bank accounts a little thin and therefore I am not the kind of client your looking for. It's OK tho, because if your response to my inquiry is any indication of your skills... well... I'm better off doing it myself. Save yourself the trouble and check out Legal Sheild. I spoke with one of their agents back and forth for days leading up to the hearing date and Jerry gave me ideas, walked me through some scenarios, and demystified all the email jargon I couldn't decipher! Oh! And he did it all for FREE! I plan on getting their 300 a year package tho because 300 ain't nothing if you have a legal battle on your hands and it covers you, your spouse and your dependents. You get 24/7 assistance anytime anywhere. Pretty impressive I'd say. WAY more transparent and reliable than a guy who probably had his secretary do a people search for me, see that I'm not loaded and then say, "I'll pass". LegalShield is where it's at and if they do it right, I'm estimating it'll be the #1 sought legal aid destination in the future.

Blake Thomas at CFLS did GREAT WORK against the large phone company (you know the name). In a short time he made them eliminate a $1200 fraudulent phone-internet-TV bill!! I had wasted over 3 months talking with the phone company idiots, and lodging complaints with the FCC and my state's telco-supervisory agency, but Blake won the case FAST, and the b******s even had to pay his fee as part of the settlement(that I like to think of as punitive damages!). I enthusiastically recommend him.--Robert Reilly
