As part of my relocation package, I worked with Samantha Hill to find an apartment. I came to NYC not having a clue about renting. My wants, needs, likes, dislikes about where and what kind of apartment was right for me, was a complete blur. Let alone learning about this large city and navigating during a bad time in the rental market. If I could put 6 stars, I would. Above and beyond does not do justice for how Samantha helped me. Because of her kindness, patience, and guidance, I come out of my first house finding experience not only with a great apartment, but also clarity and confidence. I learned so much about my preferences and priorities, as well as all the different neighborhoods in Manhattan. I wholeheartedly attribute that quick and time-boxed learning, to Samantha. She was more than an agent - she was a trusted friend, and I wouldn't be where I am right now if it wasn't for her. I cannot recommend her enough. Thank you Sam! These two were incredibly knowledgeable not only of the market and potential rental options but also the benefits associated with different neighborhoods, as well as the right questions to ask when looking at rental options. They worked tirelessly on video tours and in-person tours and were quickly responsive on all questions and proactively reached out with ideas and options. I can’t say enough good things. I worked with Christine Stoika and Khaled Kerada. They were extremely professional and customer centered. I am a first time homebuyer with some unique needs, and they were incredibly helpful from beginning to end. They communicated promptly and clearly, they coordinated everything and worked around my schedule, they shared resources to helpful information like closing cost breakdowns, they help me think strategically regarding negotiation and helping me know what to expect next in the process, and they shared recommendations of other people I would need during this process like lawyers and loan officers, and everyone I worked with who they recommended did as amazing of a job as they did. I will absolutely work with them again when I’m ready to sell or buy in the future. Not related to their service but general advice, I was very prepared for this process. I took their class on how to buy a home in New York City and I highly recommend taking a class relevant to your situation.. I spent several months figuring out my budget and what I wanted. I highly recommend this preparation most importantly for yourself, but it also enabled them to better help me.
