This firm is awful, stay away. During my 2 year journey they have changed lawyers 5 times did not respond to calls and billed me for work that went no where. It's one thing to have a poor result, it's another to bill for forms and work that was wrong, incorrectly done and not followed up with and will not finish unless I dumped more money at them. No time for any client to get anything done correctly.

DO NOT USE THIS FIRM. GO ANY WHERE BUT HERE. If Chip Atkins responds to your inquiry run, it will be the only email he’ll respond to on time. Your case will be dragged out for months. They will not be in your corner to fight for you money or custody of your kids. My wife was denying me to talk to my kids and I emailed Chip and never heard from them. This was not the first time, I addressed this with his supervisor, he apologized, but nothing changed. You will spend more $ than you get. This firm is all marketing. You’ve been warned.

They listened to me and didn't make useless conversation to drive up the bill like some attorneys like to.

My son in law called to talk about his custody case and they wouldn't even meet with him unless he paid a $5000 retainer. That is not someone who cares about people. Thankfully my son in law found an awesome lady attorney who did a great job.

At Cordell & Cordell they do a great job collecting retainers, with assurances that they will help you. But they do a terrible job returning their client's messages. I left multiple messages asking for help, but after an eight-day hiatus of not hearing back from them, I finally cancelled the retainer and went to another firm.
