Many years ago, I was having a situation where I wanted to see a mental health counselor, and my insurance needed a referral from him, my physician. He told me no, that seeing counselors is how reputations get ruined (!) and wrote me a prescription instead. I never filled the prescription, and I never went back to him.
Dr Evans listens attentively and offers sound plans for resolution of medical issues. Great doc.
My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Evans for at least 10 years. He is as personable and friendly as a dear friend. He has diagnosed things that others have missed. He listens to us and works with our perspectives concerning our health desires and issues.
This is long overdue but we found out that Dr Evans, after seeing my parents for years, had my mom on hydrocodone for over 3 years, to manage her muscle pain. We only figured it out when she went to the hospital for another issue and had withdrawals from the medicines being held. It took many many months to get her to understand what had happened and she was addicted- at 83 years old!!
I had been a patient of Dr Evans for nearly 10 years. Although he is quite intelligent (avid student of history) I found his rapport with me to be insincere and drastically lacking follow-up. I waited nearly a week for him to ultimately decline my request for attentionregarding
