Never in my life would I have thought that DR HORTON would leave a brand new neighborhood gathering and comparing all the issues going on in our new homes only to further discover that DR HORTON is denying the warranty requests to fix our broken homes. Cedarhome Square in Stanwood is a far cry from the model homes we toured expecting to move in to one comparable with the same quality of work as the model home. My floors were torn up for weeks due to all the water damage my brand new house suffered, collapsed recessed ceiling in our master, horrific squeaky floors, garage doors that slam when the wind blows or the garage door shuts, lights that sizzle and turn on when you turn them off, complete clay backyards, poor drainage in the yards that run from neighbor to neighbor, and my curved wall is so badly segmented it’s embarrassing and the warranty management told me after 3 warranty requests that this wall was installed properly when the beautiful blue curved wall in the model home was as smooth as could be. DR Horton should be ashamed at this work they’re putting out. And as far as the warranty department, disgraceful. At this point, I highly regret purchasing a home from this builder and have no issues giving potential buyers a heads up of what to expect. We have been in contact with most of our neighbors and we all share similar frustrations with what we are dealing with. Legal advice may just be around the corner if DR Horton doesn’t step up and do what is right to remedy these issues.

Buyers please beware before deciding to buy from them. We bought a home in Feb this year and we were told that we could write an online complaint on their website for any issue. Since last 3 months we have raised multiple requests and no one has come to fix it. I asked my neighbors and they are also facing same issue. Horrible service!!

As a home owner, I am going through so much of pain in dealing with pacific ridge homes and their administration here. At times, it feels like why did I buy a home with these folks. The warranty requests are unattended from past more than couple of months. The home was delivered with so many unfinished items - landscaping, broken appliances, painting, damaged exterior. All they care is the closing has to happen on their decided date, PERIOD. After that, there is absolute zero turn around on any issues to be fixed. The appliances such as gas stove, vent hood, microwave and oven had issues or broken. It’s not only me, several of our neighbors who got their home have same feedback. Literally when you people cannot keep up your promise, why do you get everyone in to trap ?? A honest advice from a suffering home owner, please think twice before you buy.
