The ceiling as concrete is an aesthetic choice of the hotel. It being "unfinished" is only an observation of the untrained eye. This hotel is absolutely comfortable. The spa services (pedicure and hot stone massage) were incredibly satisfying. The room was a stable temperature all night. The service was impeccably attentive, with a smile. The food was filling and delicious. The drinks were strong and plenty. The cleaning service was complete and thorough. The hotel is within walking distance of the red line. Book your trip to Chicago here, you will be pleased beyond imagination.

The hotel is in the main place, so easy to find it. The views from the hotel is amazing and great. Ceiling is not finished and will show the roof. Light setting needs to be adjusted or the control to adjust it should be closer to the bed. Also, the hot water from shower cannot be direct, it goes from cold side to hot side ( but it would be nice if we have one side cold and the other side hot). The coffee and tea options are so good. Huge TV and a music set are amazing!

We spent our honeymoon here in 2009. Floor to ceiling windows on 2 walls. Absolutely amazing views. There are shades and blackout curtains on the windows, too. Wonderful staff. Great concierge that helped us find our way anywhere in the city. The Red Line is a short walk away and will take you up and downtown. So incredible!! u2764

Rooftop bar is pretty cool. Busy but not jammed. The hotel is beautiful, all aspects. The desk associate I dealt with was great; very friendly and very accommodating. It was a great experience staying at this hotel. I stayed at two different Hyatts and a few others on this long trip to Chicago, and the Dana was the best by far. Would love to stay here again!
