As if losing my mother wasn't terrible enough, Jake made the whole process so much worse. I wish I had walked away the second I met him, but I was grieving and looking for the path of least resistance. As he had written several of my mother's wills, including the current one, I thought this would be the easiest option. Unfortunately, Mr. Jeffries was terribly difficult to work with and was condescending, rude, and arrogant at every single interaction. He was quick to respond to questions with replies like "That's not how this works" or "What do you mean?", but he was painfully slow at actually processing anything that needed to be completed. In fact, he seemed to only file paperwork, cash checks, or deliver correspondence to me when I asked him for status updates, based on the dates on the documents. While I realize some attorneys are busy and carry super heavy caseloads, that's not the impression I got here. I really just felt like the least important thing on his list of things to pretend to care about. During the process, I discovered some things I would deem ethically questionable at best. By the time I came to my senses, it felt too late to get out of it. He seemed to really take enjoyment in watching me struggle through the estate process, and I, unfortunately, found myself asking other attorneys for help navigating my estate situation because he was so unwilling to be of assistance. I'm not exactly sure how he ended up doing our wills, as his firm is listed as a bankruptcy firm, and maybe he's better suited for that. However, in estate law where people are grieving and need guidance, I'd say he's a hard pass. As the previous reviewer stated, I 10/10 would NOT recommend.

I hired Jacob Jeffries in the attempt to represent me in my dissolution. He was extremely unprofessional, and at one point took 2 weeks to respond to my asking of corrections to paperwork only for him to say he hadn't started them even though I had asked him to before I left his office. There was no attempt made my Mr. Jeffries to attain any information from me regarding anything in the matter. He was extremely lazy and definitely not a "go getter". 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND FOR ANY REASON!!! If you want someone to fight for you, he IS NOT the one. Oh, I also fired him and found a much better attorney to represent me.

Mr. Jeffries is awesome at what he does he makes things happen in no time, I highly recommend him he works fast and so proficient thank you so much Mr. Jeffries.

Went to get our wills redone, new POAs, Living wills, etc. All done & ready for us to sign quickly. A huge load off our minds! Thank you!
