I am a PA resident and was issued a citation along route 95 near Emporia, VA for what I thought was just for speeding 88 in a 70 mph zone. The police officer did not bother to mention that the summons to court was actually for reckless driving by speed because I was driving greater than 85 mph. Mr. Leavitt was very helpful with concise guidance and advisement. He is very responsive, and returned my initial call on a holiday weekend, to which I was happily surprised. My teenager had a court summons in a county two hours from where we live. It's helpful to have a lawyer in the county that is familiar with the judges and how they view your case. In Virginia, reckless driving is a misdemeanor criminal charge and minors are required to appear in Juvenile court. He gave us sound advice that we followed resulting in a fair and very reasonable outcome for my teenager's case, to our great relief.
