We are currently involved in a very disappointing interaction with this firm. We finalized a business transaction through this firm June 27th. We (the seller) have yet to receive funds. Although the buyer (represented by Dano) wired the funds June 27th. We are incurring unnecessary expenses related to inventory that we are unable to transfer due to lack of funds. Multiple people have contacted Dano Firm multiple times, including emails and phone calls from our attorney, with the same response every single time. The person that signs the check is out for awhile and they don't know when he will return. It is now 11 days since we finalized the transaction and no one at Dano firm can give us any idea of when we will be able to have our funds. I am sympathetic to any "emergency matter" that may arise. However, a little communication goes a longs ways and as a long standing firm I would recommend having a back up plan for this scenario in the future. So now we sit and wait for OUR money for an indeterminate amount of time.

I would give 0 stars if it would let me post this but it won’t, so I have no choice but to use 1 star. Garth Louis Dano (WSBA No. 11226, admitted 1980) of Moses Lake, was reprimanded, effective 10/26/2022, by order of the chief hearing officer. The lawyer’s conduct violated the following Rules of Professional Conduct: 8.4(d) (Prejudicial to the Admin of Justice), 8.4(g) (Discriminatory Act), 8.4(h) (Prejudice or Bias). In relation to his work as the Grant County Prosecutor, representing the state of Washington, Dano stipulated to reprimand for engaging in conduct that was a discriminatory act prohibited by state law, prejudicial to the administration of justice, and that a reasonable person would interpret as manifesting prejudice or bias on the basis of race and national origin. Erica Temple acted as disciplinary counsel. Stephen Wesley Hayne represented respondent. The online version of Washington State Bar News contains links to the following documents: Order on Stipulation to Reprimand; Stipulation to Reprimand; and Notice of Reprimand. Thanks. ????

My experience with Dano’s Law Firm was the worst experience on closing on a property in Grant County. They have less than competent team members. You need to check closing statements to confirm accuracy. They tried to charge me for multiple items that were not legit. I would NEVER use this firm for closing. I would not recommend.

Typical lawyer he provides information and assistance to handle a situation but when the situation arises he cowers in retreat. Yet the bills for each and every correspondence or phone call keep rolling in a year after my parents have passed. I wish nothing but the worst for him and his business.

Great law firm for real estate contracts. They are very well connected politically in Grant County, got Judges elected. Would recommend them for corporations and LLCs and the family is honest, ethical and morally upright. They fight the good fight with their legal might! Rates are high but worth every penny.
