If I could give this woman negative stars it still wouldn't compensate for the decision she made to ruin my daughter's childhood life. She was a GAL on my case and believed every single lie the opposing family told her without any circumstantial evidence but only words. Never interviewed my family, my parents, didn't even bother to interview the 2 other children I raised that were older. Nothing was done professionally or appropriately. Her report was twisted to suit her own narritive and full of lies to show the courts what she felt they should know not the truth they needed to know. It was pathetic. This woman even lied to a standing judge in court last year yet nothing came about it. Gretchen was more about the money than my child's wellbeing. She took my child out of a loving home years ago that was based on a lie and cleared by interviews not only by my child but by my other children involved with DCFS on a made up allegation and put into the hands of an alcoholic that abused drugs and a grandparent with money to cover the legal fees that made it possible. My child was abused for years. She stole a broken phone with wifi capability to call her sister in fear which led police to remove my daughter from the home. The family did everything to keep her from me knowing i couldn't continue to pay legal fees. She hadn't lived with me for almost 8 years, from 2012 until 2020, and I didn't see or talk to my child from 2016 till 2020. This attorney ruined my child's childhood and never once seemed to care about anything but the money she was owed that I tried so hard not to pay her. I reached out to the ARDC and since the statute expired and she's no longer on the case they referred me to the next steps that i am taking. I will never stop seeking justice for my daughter and what this woman did to my life, my other children and the child she ruined. She is one of the worst, most horrible attorney's I've ever encountered in my life. Another lawyer told me after review of my case that she was 100% wrong and i did have something to go on in the past amongst other things I've decided to pursue. If anyone has gone through what I went through with her, I highly suggest you do something about it. She has no business being in her position because she abuses her power. So if you are a crooked person and believable liar, she's the one you want. But if you are a good person looking for a credible attorney, move on. And if you are on the receiving end, and you feel she's biased, DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT and don't wait like I did.

This woman doesn't deserve any star at this point. Stay away from this name and her "law firm". She was appointed as a "GAL" to my child. Highly unprofessional, not trustworthy with hate to everyone but MONEY. She was telling me that to my face! She didn't care about the children or the families and seems like a very unhappy person! She is twisting the truth, lying and making things up with a smile on her face. I think she really enjoys hurting people. During a case with my family, she threat fully lied to the judge about me and was trying to use the advantages of her position to not protect and help but to destroy my family! She took over the position of me being a mother and started to make appointments with doctors for my child without my consent! I filed a complaint with ARDC. After reviewing it, they informed me that I don't have enough evidence to prove my misrepresentation and they closed the case... It seems like ARDC thinks these complaints aren't even important but it's very important for me and my family. I hope and wish that this review can save some families and someday we can stop this person from harassing and people! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PERSON!
