Interesting how a company that is "closed/defunct" is able to bring action knowing that they have to be "open/active business" per se.. I smell some FDCPA/FCCPA issues here and anyone who has gotten a letter from this firm needs to consult with an Attorney and let that Attorney know that the business is closed to due to numerous issues and 1 should be filing a bar compliant against this firm and or reach out to the news outlets who have in house investigators (they love a good story/drama these days). The fact that they send a demand letter for $$$ NOT EARNED/pool not finished, sounds like bad faith and or scheming to defraud... I sure's hell wouldn't ask someone for some $$ for unfinished work regardless of the excuse. Let's not forget that the pool company broke the "contract" by not adhering to their own contract and paying the sub contractors for services performed either!!!
