In short - hire Dennis Koonce. This is the second house I've bought. The first one we about 10 years ago. However, this was the first time I bought a for sale by owner (so no real estate agents). With not having a agent coordinating a lot of the minutiae of buying a house... you better make sure your lawyer is on the up and up - and Dennis was by far the best lawyer I've worked with. Without rambling on for 5 minutes here are some takeaways: competitively priced, professional, professionally dressed too, explained/knew literally every document in the closing documents, easy to talk to and hold a conversation with - especially when talking through the fine details (which is huge as he was not arrogant or conceited), and coordinated a lot of the close.

Dennis made our entire process so smooth. He was great to work with! It was my first time buying a home, with that being said I had so many questions...He was so helpful and was always available even after the normal work hours. He is amazing and I would never use anyone else after my experience with him!
