Had my citizenship interview today and aoth taking right after I passed, everyone was so nice, thumbs up to you guys, you are very accomodating. God bless!
I had a really bad experience with USCIS in Santa Ana the first time. I couldn't get an appointment for almost two months so I decided to go down and see if anything could be done about a green card extension for my daughter. They are severely understaffed everywhere in this agency and paperwork for anything takes forever. The guard told me they are in training on Thursday and it's the worse day to come down. Come at 6:30 am on Friday. Took his advice and got turned down Friday because I didn't have an appointment. They said to keep trying the system every 5 minutes which I did and finally got an appointment for first thing Monday morning! The trick is to use a cell phone and keep refreshing the page until an appointment shows up. Their kiosks are useless. On Monday it only took us 45 minutes and everyone was awesome inside the building and at the stations. Window 1 really knew his business and got us out of there in no time at all. Fix the drinking fountains please!!
I got interviewed for 3ed times the officer before interview decided to don't give me a chance to be a citizen, Mr Tomboan he put me under heavy stress that I almost started to cry , he was not fair during the interview and after that. And the accent the most officer have could not understand what the question they asked, and they be angry if you asked them " sorry I didn't understand what you asked ?".
This place is just the worst. Ths staff are rude and disrespectful, my mom had her appointment here twice and they failed her twice in the second time after a lot of study she was scheduled for her n-400. She was interviewed by Tsai,M her accent I bearly could understand and my mom didn't understand her heavy accent and she failed her for that thing. However, after talking to a lot of people I start to think this office actually discriminate aginst Arab more than 20 people have failed the interview over some Ridiculous excuses.
I have had so many bad encounters with government officials... including USCIS customer services Officer Perez. I went in today to help out my mom with her permanent resident card renewal, which she still hasn’t received (according to USCIS, it was mailed out 10 months ago). I didn’t get a chance to get his name, but the security officer (smaller in stature than other officers) at the entrance was very informative and helpful in instructing us where to go. Officer Trong and Officer Luong were very helpful today. They were both very polite, informative, and patient with our questions and concerns and took their time to help us. We were able to resolve our problem today and hope more government officials can learn from them.
