Dori Ellen completed several motions for me in Family Court, none were even heard. All dismissed. She lacked the knowledge or maybe interest in scheduling a hearing, electing to keep our case rolling along at Monday roll calls to ring the cash register. She would go out in the hall & come back weekly that we weren't going to be heard. Each Monday costing thousands of dollars to be added to her next paycheck. I filed a motion that made it mandatory for both attorneys and GAL to be present, and when the other attorney called Dori Ellen that morning stating he couldn't be there (again, his presence was mandatory), she was ok. She didn't know I had made all attorneys be present mandatory (she said). It was just another day for her to bill her client without doing a thing. My case was settled when I fired this attorney. The judge then reviewed and heard all my motions filed (most were beyond timeframe to be valid). I should have listened to friends that attended court in support to do so much earlier. Pro se is better option than Dori-Ellen.
