Dunham Law Firm

I called for help with a DWI. The only thing they asked was the name of the person and what job did the person have. I told the lady and she spoke with the attornies. Less than a minute later she came back on the phone and said they couldn't take the case. Completely shut down after I was told they wouldn't take the case. Gave no explanation why they couldn't take it. Wouldn't answer any questions. Was completely unhelpful and got irritated and snarky when I had a couple of questions and didn't just immediately hang up. It was very obvious they were ONLY looking to charge big bucks. Which I guess this is a blessing in the end in order not to do business with a bad company. Since the DWI wasn't for me I'm not sure I used the correct job title and description for my friends job correctly. I think girl misunderstood the job and assumed no significant money was made but that would be a false assumption. On the other hand this opens me up to find another attorney who cares about the person not just the money. The website looked good but I guess it's just for show because they were completely unhelpful.
This was my first time ever thinking about going through lawyer. I didn't know what to do, or if I should. Once i visited Dunham & Jones website, it was 8:00pm on a Sunday when I applied for a free consultation. I received a call just the next morning from a lawyer looking interested in my case and scheduled a meeting that same day. I was amazed, as I arrived the staff welcomed me & gave me a glass of water letting me know they'd be with me shortly. I already felt thankful I found this law firm. When I met with Paul Dunham he assured me he'd do whatever it takes to get my case dismissed or reduced & immediately made moves to help me live my life and he take care of most the work. I feel truly blessed & felt very welcomed to this company. I definitely recommend going with Dunham & Jones if you need, & don't know who to go to for an attorney.
From beginning to end, Dunham Law Firm was respectful, genuine, prompt and sincere. Mr. Dunham was quick to meet with me according to my schedule, his staff was pleasant, he took his time to listen to the things I needed to say, and kept contact with me via text and email that same day as well as the next. He is now actively working my case and has relieved me and my family of our worry. I had a great experience with Mr. Dunham and I will continue to use him for not only my current case, but any future problems that may arise, as well as any legal matters for my family as well. I would definitely recommend him and his firm to my family and friends.
Easy cases are easy cases, the lack of knowledge or actual intel for most of these comments, and the fact most commentors only have left 1 total review, makes me believe they rather than using your money to review a case, they use it to have legal assistants make google accounts, because there is no way in hell this many people would give any attorney's office in Travis county that many 5 stars. Either that or the office opted to simply give up on my case. To loosely quote my attorney Jim Erickson, "my plan is to throw some of the facts at them and keep pushing the case off, because you don't look like you have a chance of winning and I'd rather not upset the prosecutor on this case so I have more traction for others" postponing (18 months from initial arrest) to obtain the outcome I was told on the first day would be the worst case scenario. nnSo after 16 months of being told one thing, I take the conviction that my attorney has essentially scared me into, for another member of This office who had supposedly reviewed my case say, "yeah we never did find out if your prior from another state would legally be usable by TX courts, but you should have gone to trial you had a great case for it" Thousands of dollars later, the attorney's seemingly did almost nothing, other than to spend 10-20 minutes once a month telling the prosecutor they didn't have the necessary info so lets postpone... until the court gave in due to lack of work on their end and the case was closed with me getting slapped with most of the maximums having been blood tested at .10. nnThe blame is no doubt mine for getting pulled over, but I feel even more to blame to be fear mongered into signing a contract with this law firm and being treated so poorly. I have only myself to blame for lack of due diligence, but anyone who's been arrested only a time or two knows the mad rush to find representation and get answers on how to prevent the worst. nnI'm not aware of a single other occupation in which people can so easily destroy the life of others because they simply don't want to or are afraid to do their job. A problem of the system overall, probably, regardless this team is full of crooks, who use smooth smiles and deep, generalized promises, until you sign. nnP.S. This is how you leave a review, actual substance. I mean, we're talking about a legal matter. "Great communication and professionalism..." Did you get a speeding ticket? How does this help anyone? Again, why I think most reviews are fake :(
Made me feel extremely comfortable and I knew my case was in good hands. Also worked with me to create a payment plan. I would recommend Dunham & Jones to a friend 100%.
