Kristie is amazing. She is detailed, patient and very thorough. She assisted me first with my elderly parents and now with personal issues. I moved to South Florida three years ago and I absolutely will not use any other attorney other than Kristie, unless it’s something she can’t do. I highly recommend her services.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with Estevez Law Group. They never actually completed any work for me, yet I was still billed for two hours of service. I initially reached out to them for assistance with closing on a probate property I was purchasing. However, the seller backed out of the deal, and I made multiple attempts—over six times—to inform the firm that the transaction was no longer moving forward. Each time I called, I was given the same response: “Attorney Kristie M. Estevez-Puentes will reach out to you.” Yet, after my seventh attempt, the only response I finally received was an email informing me that I had been refunded half of what I was charged. I only spoke to this attorney once, for about 30 minutes, during which all she gathered was the property address—nothing more. Yet, I was charged $800 for what was supposedly “two hours” of work. When I questioned the charge, I was simply told to “refer to the retainer agreement.” I completely understand that legal services come at a cost, but that cost should reflect actual work done—not just a fee for being on the client list. If you’re looking for transparency and professionalism, I would strongly advise looking elsewhere.

I consider myself very lucky to have chosen Estevez Law Group to assist me with my condo purchase. It was a long distance transaction that took seven weeks and was completely electronic (e-mail, fax, telephone, etc.). I did not meet Kristie and her team until the day of closing. That too was very pleasant and surprisingly quick and easy. Throughout the entire process, I felt very comfortable knowing that Kristie and her team were overseeing the entire transaction and that they would have my back if anything went sideways.
