Robin Petras is quite literally the lousiest attorney I’ve ever came across. Not only did she forget about the case and lost it in the pile for a whole year, her recommendations were highly unethical. She hasn’t done anything except for disappearing for months at a time with 0 communication, and when she did communicate her emails were filled with nasty remarks. Horrible business practice.

I called to get information about retaining the firm and she laughed like I was asking a stupid question. I informed her about something personal and she really didn’t seem to have any compassion. The initial conversation with her told me everything I needed to know about the people that work here, so I will not be hiring them.

The Florida Family Law Clinic helped me with my daughter and the results were positive. All motions were effective and timely. They got the job done with no complaints. After assistance with my daughter they are now helping me with my son. The results so far have been amazing. The representation has been extremely effective in the courtroom. I am very pleased with the progress and results so far. This firm is very reasonable priced, and I have had no complaints with billing. They have always been available for discussion when necessary, and I feel they have genuine concern for my issues. Two thumbs up!

Unfortunately, more than 2 years ago, I found this firm through Google search and I wrongly assumed that it was a decent firm and I hired them. Before I signed the retainer, I wanted to make sure the owner, attorney Robbin Petras will care for my case. I requested to talk to her over the phone and I specifically asked to only take my case if she can help me with my case which she said yes. Right after, I signed the retainer, and provided my credit card information. They charged me $2,000. I got assigned a male attorney, Mr Scott, who took the case to court soon. However, he quit the firm and I made the mistake of not following him. After that, I never really knew what was going on. I hardly ever talked to Robbin over the phone or anything was done. I never heard about my case again. I called them to ask what was going on and they just play with me over the phone. Her sister who is a school teacher was the one processing my case and the only one who took the time or care to talk to me. She was the best person in the whole firm. Unlucky for me, she had to left and my case passed to Robbin who despite appearing in court, did not accomplished anything. Meanwhile, I was receiving invoices where they were charging me for each time I called to the office to ask about my case or if I talk to somebody, anybody; it could be the secretary, receptionist, paralegal, etc. They billed me and the only reason I called was to know why after 2 years, nothing was getting done. The worst part, they never talked to me or gave me a clear answer, even when I had an appointment with the attorney who never showed up for our phone meetings. But I was still billed even if she didn’t show up for our phone meetings. I was very frustrated, and I decided to email them and they never replay me but charged me for just read my emails even if it was something they requested from me or something needed for the case. Meanwhile, my family situation got worse and worse. I had enough and fired this attorney and now, after months of silence and I after I fired them, they are sending me invoices overcharging me. I spent around another $1,500 and my case ended exactly where it was at the beginning. Nothing was accomplished. I wasted my money and my time. I don’t recommend this attorney or this firm. I think they are very shady and irresponsible, and my advice if you are looking for a family attorney do a good research before to make any decision. I regretted not to Google her name and read the reviews about her. Now I’m paying the price

Robin Petras and Bryan are awesome lawyers and more importantly great human beings. Bryan really cares and I love the fact that he is a fighter and very professional. I would strongly recommend the Florida Family Law Clinic. My case has been a nightmare through no fault of theirs. They are doing the best they can considering the circumstances surrounding my case and I truly appreciate them.
