The office staff have treated me very poorly. There was an issue that came up during our loan process at the bank and Olin’s office suggested coming in to have a consultation with Olin. Olin’s office was the one that told the bank I would have to go forward with legal action to get what I need to be able to get a loan/ title insurance. Again it’s important to note Olin’s office is the one that initially suggested and set up the consultation with a fee of $250. I had to cancel that meeting and said I would reschedule for another time when I could. Their office scheduled another meeting and called me hours before telling me Olin can’t help our situation (when this is the exact type of case he handles and we have had multiple people refer us to Olin). They refuse to meet with us, the staff spoke to me like I was an idiot and seriously treated me very poorly. They couldn’t give an answer as to why they said they could and would help before but now say they can’t. I have never, in all my dealings with law offices, been treated the way multiple people at that office have treated me. I feel like it’s because I did my due diligence and asked a lot of questions to multiple people about the situation so I could understand it better. The situation didn’t make sense to me and still doesn’t but I know it annoyed them very much that I questioned a lot. It was truly just so I could understand why and what we are up against.
While I had an okay experience speaking with a paralegal, it didn't last long. After waiting for days to hear if a lawyer could help us, we were informed there would be a $300 consultation fee to speak with the lawyer. Still was never told if they could help or not. You know, for them to boast about being the areas largest and well respected law firm, they seem to be very greedy. I guess when you get to that point, you can charge what you want and rich people can and will pay it. Many lawyers these days forget why they got into the business or their oath to help people. If you have the knowledge and experience, the least you can do is sit down with someone for 30mins to hear about the case and determine if you can help them without charging. Or put on your website that you charge a $300 fee to consult so as to not waste anyone's time. But thank you to Heather for being polite.
My experience with this office was absolutely adequate. I used this office for a Record Deed on my home. Katie, was my Real Estate Paralegal and she was just simply wonderful - she was professional, patient, and so easy to communicate with. Very grateful I used this place - as word of mouth in the community sent me here. Thank you Spicer, Olin & Associates, P.C. for working with me and making it an easy and hassle free process from beginning to end.
Kris Olin is easy to work with, very knowledgeable, open and honest with his clients. He prepared me for multiple outcomes and professionally guided me through the entire process. He never made me feel uncomfortable and understood my apprehension before my case was heard. I highly recommend him for any legal issue.
Kris Olin has helped me out tremendously - I have sought his counsel on a variety of issues and his advocacy approach, to each situation, was a key to his success both in court and in his advice. I adamantly recommend Kris - he has earned my trust. He works extremely hard for his clients and has established a well respected reputation among his peers.
