MTD Recently purchased RoboMower but did not buy the parts but also restricted them from being sold in the USA by Friendly Robotics that created and previously owned the RoboMower. I need the Controller for an RL1000. I started this process by going to Friendly Robotics website that created the RoboMower and I had purchased parts from before. That site was now linked me to your MTD parts page. That page linked me to my part where I ordered the part with RCPW. I didn't even know RCPW were not a part of MTD till well over a month went by and was checking on my back ordered part again. By then I started looking for an alternate source and found out MTD had bought out Friendly Robotics USA and MTD had not purchased the spare parts but also did not allow Friendly Robotics to sell parts in the USA. RCPW had me call MTD when they were finally told the part was not available. MTD was not nice when I contacted them letting me know in no that the part was not available in the USA, that it had NEVER been available in the USA. This is not true. MTD was not helpful and did not care I was out a $2200.00 that other than a controller this mower would still work fine. I wish RCPW had not strung me on for so long, but that is on MTD also, for not letting them know. Last fall I started having problems with the controller and almost bought one from Friendly Robotics for $109.00. This was a $2200.00 lawn mower always easy to get parts and support for but I put the purchase off till spring. I am on a fixed income now, brain tumor, and so when the Controller finally died early this summer I went to purchase it and went into a black hole. MTD had not taken over selling the parts yet even though they were pushing the sales of the new RoboMower models. It took a month of hunting before the old Friendly Robotics site linked me through to you through MTD parts, no one in the US had one that I could find.

Worked here as a temp very briefly. Was treated very poorly. Very racist, was only white guy and when hours were slow I was always the first one to go. Shame on these people. Most of the crews are illegals and out of 25 or so people, I was one of 2 who spoke English.
