Garcia & Dubove

Reviews

The layer and office staff were all very helpful, I was very pleased with their services and would highly reccomend them for all your needs.
gave us the run around and never moved forward from the initial beginning of the process. took forever to respond, and when they did it was usually just to charge more money. after half a year, they only "lost" and "couldnt locate" some files and that they were going to put together a "contract" and at the end of it, we had to start paying all over again. waste of time.
I had a terrible experience there with dobove he has a very and ugly attitude don't go there you will be disappointed
Would NOT recommend to anyone! Terrible customer service and lack of commitment! Not to mention they are expensive, so quick in taking your money but have to push them to get things done! (More details below) I hired them for an immigration case...would not hire them again. After reviewing my case they gave me a list of items to get and said it would be an easy case. Once I got them all the info they requested they said it would take them 2 weeks to fill out the paperwork and submit the immigration petition. After 3 weeks nothing happened so I called them, only to find out they had not done anything with my case. And on top of that they asked me for another item! (an item which I was initially told I did not need until my immigration appointment!) After dealing with my RUDE case manager the immigration petition was sent off a month later after the time frame I was originally given! (Just an FYI be prepared for your case manager to chew you out for not answering the phone yet she's to lazy to leave voicemails.) And it gets worst, another FYI Dubove doesn't go with you to your immigration appointment you will be lucky if you see him more than once, he is partnered with an attorney from Dallas and she's the one that will accompany you to the appointment. So before going to the immigration appointment you meet with the 2nd attorney to prepare you for the immigration interview. When I met with the second attorney it was 3 weeks before my interview, and to my surprise she asked me for additional info/proofs! I told her that when I spoke to Dubove he said I didn't need the additional info she was requesting but she insisted I needed it. Well it ended up that I could not get a hold of the additional info they were at that point, 3 weeks before the interview, just not requesting. They said that without that additional info there was a 50% chance my petition could get denied!! After I had already paid them almost $6,000, plus on top of that dealt with the most rude case manager that acted like if she was just doing me this huge favor, these folks had the nerve to tell me my petition could get denied because I couldn't get them the info they just now wanted, this was outrageous! The 2nd attorney told me she was just trying to advising me the best she knew, which at that point had little meaning, since I had been advise wrong in the first place by Dubove himself when he told me I didn't need those additional proofs. That just tells you the lack of communication between these two attorneys. At the end all I can say is that I could not be more disappointed with the service from this firm, luckily I was able to find something that compensated with what I was being asked to get and even more fortunate in my case was that the immigration officer that held my interview was nice enough to accept the info that I provided. Thank you very much for your time to all those who read my whole review, hopes this helps, and like I said I would NOT recommend hiring these firm.
I have been a client of The Law Office of Garcia for over two years.Very good staff and attorneys. They have helped me with two cases, car accident and immigration. The receptionist is very nice and makes you feel welcomed as soon as you walk through the door. Definitely recommend their services to everyone! Thank you for all you have done for me and my family!
