4/3/23— This is a follow-up to my original post. Mr. Gardner finally responded the day I posted my original post below, and it happen to be the same day that I sent an email asking if I had to contact the Georgia Bar Association. My balance owed went from $5000+ to $600+ Which tells you something. I did finally receive my check about 10 days later however, they still charged me for the call and follow up call pertaining to the incorrect settlement amount that they provided me which I found was ridiculous. He did ask me to remove this post, but I’ve decided not to remove the post because people need to know and be aware of what they could potentially face using this law firm. I will never recommend this law firm and I may still reach out to the Georgia Bar Association just to see what they say because I feel what I went through was very unjust unethical and I believe he overstepped on his authority because he held my money in escrow. For now I can just say I am so glad that I am done with this law firm but not that happy with how my case settled, because I lost all with Mr. Gardner and his paralegal Cheryl. Really do your homework because this attorney practices unethical conduct. I reluctantly settled my case 2/2/23 because I lost all faith in mr Gardner and his paralegal Sheryl. To top that off his paralegal provided me the wrong settlement amount and instead of taking responsibility for that the attitude was don’t settle go to court but it will cost you more money. To make matters worse I am still waiting for them to send me my settlement and it’s been over a month. They are claiming I have a $5ooo+ outstanding balance but the entire invoice adds up to under $6500 and when asked to explain the invoice and what happened to to my $5000 retainer I hear crickets. Mr Gardner responded he will adjust the invoice to reflect what is on our contract I signed but I’ve received nothing. I have reached out everyday for last 2+ weeks and still nothing and now he’s in court for the week. It’s always another reason why he’s not responding. They have no billing department. So basically I’m at his mercy to get my settlement because he held it an escrow account. This is horrible and unjustified, unacceptable, unethical etc to say the least. This is causing me a severe financial hardship and they just don’t care. I am still waiting for my settlement that they are holding hostage I believe until I give up and tell them to take whatever they want. They are avoiding me and won’t accept my calls. This is unbelievable. If I lived in GA I would have been at that office but I live in AZ. Please do your research when looking for a attorney. I am still waiting on my money and explanation on my bill and retainer. Thank god I found my contract for evidence of rates and retainer.

I’m extremely grateful with Mr. Gardner and Gardner Law firm they’ve solved my bankruptcy case in an extraordinary manner with favorable results. I recommend this Law firm they will go above and beyond to help you with your case.

The worst I've ever seen always late completely unprepared was supposed to simply do a motion for discovery after over a month had a meeting that day he contacted the other attorney for one piece of paper I had already given him this was four days before the court date was going to file an extension never responded to any calls had to actually go to the office toake sure he was even going to be there. At the time we were going to meet at court house at 2.30 he shows up at 2 .52 court at three and throws the case away in the court never did anything except get bank records no stock or invesents of my father

I give this office a ZERO!! They never return calls or emails. When we tried to cancel the deal, we submitted a Mutually signed agreement. They didn't disburse because they feel it was wrong. Still waiting 3 weeks now for them to disburse.
