This guy is a joke. Spent the first consultation bragging about how he "took on NFL lawyers and won" but got mopped up every time by Bevin Maxey in court. Didn't help my husband one bit in his divorce. My husband had the most cut and dry case in family court. They had been seperated for 8 yrs, kids were adapted to going between mom and dads on weekends. There were no properties or anything to be divided. Nothing. This should have been a simple 90 day divorce. It was dragged out for both lawyers to make money. Gary allowed opposing council to slander him in court, not even bring up the fact that the marriage ended with HER affair with their son's married football coach from Pop Warner football. Yet, allowed the trial judge to see SHE put INFIDELITY as reason for divorce, but never called her out during trial?? Gary did not even secure visitation with his kids even though he was paying $1234/ Mo for child support PLUS 2 private school tuitions. Not being able to see his kids?? The judge ruled literally stating that, "prior council loosely wrote the visitation agreement allowing this to happen" She even got away with refusing to take the kids to COURT ORDERED counseling. Even though my husband paid, $2000 retainer, plus 3000 cash, one month, then the next month $3500 cash, he STILL failed to adequately defend him. All Gary cares about is getting paid. Not justice or what is best for children involved. Upon the final ruling of my husband's divorce trial, Gary told my husband they can appeal. Yet, a few days later, Gary "dropped" my husband. Not even with a legal serve. He had a mutual friend of ours drop the papers in our mailbox. That's not a legal serve. I still have her text message saying, "there are papers from Gary in your mailbox". This guy is AWFUL, GREEDY, and UNPROFESSIONAL. He will hold your debt for 7 years then turn you into collections. Sadly, we saw how a black 17 yr veteran CO for Spokane County Sheriff's department is treated in Spokane family courts. Good loving father's get the shaft, put on a visitation schedule like a criminal that mother's are not even held to accommodate, while being treated like a debit card. It's disgusting.

I was recommended stenzel law by a member of my church it is very popular in some crowds and charged me plenty. Since then, I went elsewhere and it seems like I have gotten a lot more done for about a 3rd of the cost. I would not recommend this law office to anyone. Upfront, I was told about extra time I could get and in the end I didn't. I understand that law can be complicated, but I would like to be charged fairly and talked to in a straight forward manner. UPDATE: Instead of talking to me directly, Stenzel Law bad mouths me in a 5star reviews about himself and emails me to argue in secret and try to pressure me. A lawyer should help you with your problems not add to them. Hiring this law firm has become a liability. You could be next. Stay away!

Gary is only there to steal your money so he can go on one of his monthly vacation's. This guy is a complete joke and more of a liar than a lawyer. His only intention is to get as much money off you as possible. I had about the most cut and dry case that never even had to go to court. My ex and I agreed that I would be taking full custody of our boy and I hired Gary to write up a revised parenting plan with me as the custodial parent. He stated that beings she agreed to sign custody over to me and we were not needing to go to court that I would be getting some of my deposit back (about $1500). Well it took him 4 months to get the papers done (a full 8 pages). Then he did some quick pencil whipping at the end to make sure he used up every last dime of my deposit.

Steer clear and save your time, they will immorally take your money, time, mental sanity and anything else they can scam out of you. They amount of times they have gaslighted me via email is telling of their practice. I Hope no one else gets their hopes up only to be strung along and gaslit while being scammed out of money.
