I did not have the chance to meet or talk to Attorney Gearty prior to the initial court date to establish custody. I don't believe he tried much at all to get what I hoped for. He was okay during my two conferences, but it was nothing I couldn't have done myself. I also retained him for my Domestic Relations trial. I took a half day off of work to meet with him and go over everything. The day of court he didn't show up and had another attorney step in. I was not even notified this was going to happen. I had 2 minutes to go over things with that attorney. I emailed the office about possible contempt charges and never received a response so they must not be interested in keeping their clients. He was clearly available last minutes for my initial court date, which was great, but overall I would not recommend him.
