My ex and I agreed to work with one lawyer in the fall of 2016 on our divorce. We came to Gerlach law with nearly all the details ironed out and asked her to advise us on the final detail and work up the settlement. More than a year later and a second lawyer introduced (10 months into it), we finally achieved the settlement. Theresa intentionally repeatedly delayed the process, was continually non-responsive and she represents everything that is wrong with the profession. She wouldn't even respond to the second attorney once he was hired. Her money grab was more than obvious and anyone who considers hiring her should make sure she is held to very clear expectations so she doesn't intentionally run the meter.
